We have had two wonderful history walks in Reno this fall and a fall colors hike on the Mt. Rose Trail. The valleys are beautiful. I always look forward to these golden days. We have been busy planning our fundraising event – “Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem”. We were thrilled with the number of authors who came. We will need to continue holding fundraising events in order to have the funds to continue our Web site and expenses related to the Jean Ford Research Center after 2009. Seven members from the north flew to Las Vegas for the semiannual State Board meeting. We were thrilled to meet our new State President, Dianne Steel. She did a great job covering a lot of material.
