Congratulations to:
- The Nevada Women’s Fund, our
sponsoring organization, for their
successful year. More than
$185,000 for scholarships was
awarded to Nevada women this
year. Since 1982, the organization
has distributed more than $4 million
in scholarships to nearly 1,000
women and organizations.
- NWHP member Gwendolyn
Clancy, who has released a new
documentary entitled “Paul Revere
Williams: the Nevada Years.” This
program looks at several buildings in
Nevada from the 1930’s designed by
the renowned African American
architect Paul Revere Williams.
Recent showings
have occurred on
PBS stations in
both Reno and Las
Vegas as well as
community access
television in other
areas.
- Our State President Dianne
Steel on winning in the November
4th election the position of 8th
Judicial District Family Court Judge
for Clark County. What a
wonderful accomplishment that
involved a long campaign, much
hard work and dedication. We
are so proud of your success!
