About our speaker. Reno native, Patricia Lynch was Reno’s first City Attorney and the first female city attorney in the State of Nevada, who completed her career as a judge in the Reno Justice Court. Lynch co-founded the first rape crisis line in Reno, as well as the Washoe County Domestic Violence Task Force, and the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association. As City Attorney, she created the first domestic violence vicitm’s advocate position, which was then replicated in all other Nevada prosecutor’s offices. As a member of the International Assoc. of Women Judges, she presented papers and moderated panels in Kiev, Ukraine in 1998 and numerous other international locations.
