Jennifer Burkhamer Budge was NWHP’s honoree at the Nevada Women’s Fund “Salute to Women of Achievement” luncheon on May 23, 2019.
Jennifer is currently Parks and Recreation Director for Carson City, and has been in the Parks in Recreation field over 25 years. She began her career in parks as a Lifeguard for the City of Reno at the age of 15. Jen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Municipal Recreation Administration from UNR. Previous to her present position, she was Park Operations Superintendent for Washoe County Regional Parks. She is a member of the Nevada Recreation and Parks Society, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and the Foundation for Carson City Parks. She is married to Jeremy Budge and has three children.
